Sun World names grape licensees in Chile, Italy
California’s Sun World International, LLC has announced three new grape marketer licensees, adding to a grand total of 32 grape marketers across the company's global network.
The new appointments include Italy's Giuliano Puglia Fruit and Chile's Exportadora Santa Elena S.A. and GESEX S.A.
The three producers have been granted the right to distribute and market Sun World's seedless grape varieties, including Midnight Beauty, Scarlotta Seedless and Sable Seedless.
Giuliano Puglia Fruit is owned by the Giuliano family in southern Italy, where the company produces grapes, stonefruit and citrus for distribution throughout European supermarkets.
Santa Elena is an exclusive grower-exporter that sources fruit to high-end markets in the U.K., U.S. and Canada.
GESEX in Buin, Chile is one of the nation's top exporters, packing grapes, citrus and stonefruit for North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia. The company is directed by Juan Gabriel Perez.
Other Sun World-licensed grape marketers are located in Portugal, Israel, Australia, South Africa, Spain, Peru, Mexico and Brazil.
