Chile: PMA Fruittrade to step up Business Roundtable sessions
A major trade show to be held in Chile next week is not only a convention and expo for the produce sector, but a place where key industry players can hold face-to-face meetings with one another.
Produce Marketing Association (PMA) Fruittrade Latin America will take place in the capital Santiago on Nov. 11-12, and as part of the event there will be a series of Business Roundtable meetings between buyers and sellers.
Attendees for the trade show this year can sign up to two different types of meetings.
The first, Traditional Business Roundtable, will bring together buyers of fruits, vegetables, tree nuts and plants with companies offering those products.
The second type, which is new to this year, is called Service Business Roundtable, which will unite players from the service industry with other participants of the Traditional Business Roundtable.
All those who register for the Traditional business Roundtable will also be enrolled in the other one.
"The service and supply chain for the fruit and vegetable industry is extensive, and as a meeting point we open the doors to those who want to interact directly with the productive sector," the organization said.
