Sun World International has added a Chilean and two Peruvian grape companies to its list of global licenses.

Pronto Exports, Agrícola Interandina and Sun Fruits will now have access to its seedless grape varieties.

The California-based global fruit genetics and technology company has partnerships across the U.S., Europe, Australia, South America, Isreal and South Africa.

Sun World vice president of licensing Garth Swinburn said that this development also helps "bolster" the company's presence in the global fruit trade.

"We’re confident that providing further access to our seedless grape varieties will allow producers to maximize their revenues while increasing the seedless grape volume in Chile and Peru, and the visibility of our varietal brands,” he added.

This move adds three new profiles to Sun World's 70 licensed marketers around the world.

One of the new partnering companies, Pronto Exports, is located in the Aconcagua Valley of Chile. It is a packer and exporter of table grapes, kiwis, walnuts and avocados.

Owned by the Gioia family and founded in 1930, it has operations that stretch across the valley. 

In Peru, another partner- Sun Fruits- is near to the country's capital city of Lima. In the valley of Ica, the grower, processor and exporter cultivates grapes, avocados, citrus and blueberries.

Additionally, Peru-based Agricola Interandia is found in the heart of the Andes Mountains. Its climate provides ideal conditions for high-quality fruits.
