Felipe Juillerat, an experienced berry industry executive, has joined the advisory board of Terra Exports, a U.S.-based global fresh fruit company.

Juillerat will assume a general advisory role on the board starting this month.

Best known for his prior role as Chief Commercial Officer for Hortifrut, Juillerat has more than 27 years of experience in the berry industry.

He also held the title of President of the Blueberry Committee of Chile's ASOEX until late 2019.

Juillerat’s “understanding and experience in partnerships, acquisitions and corporate branding in complex markets such as the Americas, Asia and Europe are vital to support Terra Exports’ goals”, according to a press release.

“Felipe joining our company in a board/advisory role is a tremendous step forward for us,” said Nils Goldschmidt, CEO of Terra Exports.

“His guidance will be key to catapulting us into the next phase of our company, which is building a roadmap to becoming one of the top fresh produce companies in the world,” he said.

Goldschmidt said: “Felipe’s experience and success with Hortifrut are unmatched in the industry, and having him on board will give us the edge we’ve been eager for since the start of Terra Exports.”

With eight divisions spread across the globe, the company sources and ships quality fruit and vegetables to over 65 countries year-round, according to the press release.
