Saudi investment bound for Mexican agriculture
Mexico's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA) has announced Saudi Arabia wants to invest in the country's farming sector, reported Eleconomista.com.mx.
The announcement was made after Saudi Ambassador to Mexico Hussein Mohammad Abdulfatah Alassiri met with SAGARPA boss Francisco Mayorga, the story reported.
SAGARPA said the main food goods Mexico exported to Saudi Arabia were fruits, vegetables, honey, chickpeas, juice, confectionery, pepper and coffee, while there were also opportunities for sugar, chicken and beef.
