US: David Dever to takeover as Sun World's new CEO
U.S. fresh produce grower and exporter Sun World has appointed David Dever as its new president and chief executive officer (CEO) to replace Allen Vangelos who is retiring but will remain on the board.
Dever is currently CEO at import and export company Pandol Bros but will take over the reins on Jan. 16.
Board of managers chairman Christopher Parker, thanked Vangelos for his hard work and dedication and said the board was confident Dever would be the right person for the job.
Dever said he was excited about the appointment.
"I look forward to working with such a talented and dedicated group of people,” he said.
Vangelos has served as CEO since June 2008, and prior to that was a manager joining Sun World in October 2006.
