The U.S. National Mango Board's (NMB) latest statistics show shipments were relatively stable in week 28, dropping slightly by 2% at 2.179 million boxes.

The fall was mainly driven by a corresponding 2% fall in mango imports of Mexican mangoes, with a total of 2.096 million boxes for the week.

An NMB release forecast Mexican mango imports of 2.019 million boxes in week 29 and 1.5 million boxes in week 30.

During week 28, prices fell by 4% at the Texas port of entry and dropped by 3% in the Arizona port of entry.

Haiti's shipments to the U.S. dropped by 7% to 83,507 boxes for the week, while NMB said it expected the Brazilian campaign to start in mid-July and follow through November.
