Avocados

In North America, Chilean volumes remained limited in the U.S.

In Latin America, strong demand and stable prices were seen in Chile.

In Europe, cosmetic problems were seen for Peruvian fruit in Spain while South African fruit got the best prices in the U.K.

Blueberries

In North America, increased arrivals from Argentina continued to supply both coasts in the U.S. Low volumes led to price increases for 4.4oz and 6oz formats on the West Coast.

In Europe, moderate sales and a favorable price continued for Argentine supply in the Netherlands. In the U.K., the market was supplied by limited Argentine volumes and complemented by South African lots.

Easy Peelers

In North America, fast sales were seen for Chilean Murcotts in the U.S.

In Europe, a low supply of Southern Hemisphere easy peelers was observed in the Netherlands, while the first lots from the Spanish season entered the market. In Russia, condition problems with Argentinean supply benefited sales for Spanish fruit.

Grapes

In North America, limited volumes of Brazilian Festival grapes started to arrive on the U.S. East Coast. Coloring delays for red Californian grapes continued to generate lower availability in the market.

In Europe, fast sales of Spanish Sugraone were reported in the Netherlands with greater availability, while adequate sales were seen for Brazilian supply. In the U.K., good sales of Spanish Crimson Seedless dominated the market while the Brazilian offering started to supplement the red seedless supply. In Russia, sales remained active for Italian Crimson and Flame Seedless.

Oranges

In Europe, South Africa dominated the Dutch and Russian markets with adequate sales and limited availability.

In Asia, South African sales in Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland depended on fruit quality, with varying prices recorded.
