Sweden: NYKCool to change name under new ownership
Stockholm-based shipping liner NYKCool has been taken over by Russian reefer company Baltic Reefers, and will be changing its name to Cool Carriers AB as of Sept. 1. 
An NYKCool/Cool Carriers release mentioned CEO Boris Gersling will continue in his role along with the rest of the team.
"Cool Carriers will continue its commercial operation unchanged and operate independently from Baltic Reefers," Gersling said.
"The new ownership situation, with an owner focusing on the specialized reefer segment, gives Cool Carriers a good opportunity to further prosper in this segment.
"In short it´s business as usual, but under new ownership."
Apart from its Swedish base, the company also has overseas representations in Chile, New Zealand, South Africa and the U.S.
