New push for Belgian-branded fruit and vegetables
Belgian cooperative BelOrta has launched its own produce brand with a strategic marketing and promotional campaign to push sales.
BelOrta Fruit and Vegetables is the brand name for all products with two sub brands, BelOrta Chef and BelOrta Bio.
Originally the official launch was scheduled for March 22 but was postponed due to the terror attacks in Brussels.
TV commercials, new packaging, a new website and a social media campaign will run over the coming months.
"With inspiring products and consumer orientated packaging, BelOrta brings pure pleasure to consumers at home, at school or at work," says commercial manager Jo Lambrecht.
BelOrta offers a wide range of produce including more than 120 fruits, 30 vegetables and 20 herbs. BelOrta Chef includes a 'colorful assortment' of distinctive products ideal for creative chefs, while the BelOrta Bio range focuses on organics.
"With targeted actions BelOrt'sa fruit and vegetable will be presented to Belgian consumers over several months through brand new TV spots, a restyled website and an enhanced presence on social media."
