California-based fruit company Sun Pacific is expanding its table grape offerings this season to include 11 conventional and two organic varieties, to be sold under the brand Air Chief. 

In 2016, the Air Chief portfolio includes new conventional varieties of Timpson and Great Green white seedless grapes, as well as Timco and Krissy red seedless grapes in both conventional and organic forms.

In 2017, Crimson and Allison varieties will be added to the portfolio, while most varieties from Sun Pacific will be available in both conventional and organic to meet the accelerating demand for organic table grapes which grew 22% percent in 2015.

Next year will also bring the launch of Sun Pacific’s partnership with Sun World, another U.S. company with the world's longest standing private table grape breeding program.

Through this partnership, Sun Pacific will grow and market the group's popular proprietary branded varieties including Scarlotta Seedless, Autumncrisp and Adora Seedless.
