Real-time data innovator continues with global expansion
MOST, the Sweden-based creator of what is described as one of the most innovative real-time data and temperature trackers yet developed, is expanding its trials with the globe’s biggest sea freight forwarder, Kuehne + Nagel.
The expanded trials will open opportunities for the revolutionary MOST solution across international markets, with the focus on serving clients in a range of industries, including fresh produce, pharmaceuticals, electronics and textiles.
Announcing the expanded trials at the Fruit Logistica 2018 trade exhibition on Feb. 9, MOST CEO Jon Hjertenstein said the agreement would enable the MOST solution to enter new markets and sectors.
“We have been working on integrations and trials over the past year and are now able to announce that we are expanding the trials with Kuehne + Nagel – the biggest sea freight forwarder in the world to a global level,” he said.
The devices with an integration to the KN Login visibility platform will enable real-time monitoring and proactive intervention.
“The MOST Device is currently undergoing trials with several large potential customers,” Hjertenstein said.
“White labeling and API-integrations and the multiple industries that we cover opens up many opportunities for our solution”.
MOST was created in response to a request by a South African exporter who had experienced difficulties with traditional data loggers. Since its inception, the focus of the system has been on maintaining a connection to the web during transportation to avoid loss of data.
Unlike other devices, which must be connected to a computer on arrival for data collection to take place, the MOST Device is connected to the cloud, which means users can track the progress of shipments on a phone or tablet from start to finish in real time.
