Tozer Seeds Pacific (TSP) was opened on July 1 in Melbourne, becoming the company's third subsidiary after Tozer Ibérica and Tozer Seeds America. It will be run by Bruno Tigani.

Managing director Steve Winterbottom explained the company would cover Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, China and Japan.

"We are tremendously excited to be taking this step. TSP will help expose us to new markets and provide feedback to help steer our breeding," he said.

Tigani has years of experience within the seed world, including managing Australian distributor Fairbanks from 2004-2013.

"It’s great to be finally and formally part of the Tozer family. Although I’m far away it’s great to have the support from Tozer Head Quarters in the UK," Tigani said.

Bruno will be assisted in China by Shanghai-based technical manager, Dr Chenyi Yao, who has worked in the U.K. as a molecular biologist at Tozer for nine years and last year returned home to help further develop Tozer’s commercial and breeding work in China.

Tozer Seeds specializes in breeding, production and distribution of quality vegetable seed.
