U.S.: Dole inks deal for executive office in uptown Charlotte
U.S.-based Dole Food Co. has formally signed a deal to take space in uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, for its local corporate office, Bizjournals reports.
The agricultural company has reportedly signed a lease for 15,265 square feet at 200 South Tryon, taking the full sixth floor and half of the seventh.
The company will keep several senior and executive leadership positions at the office, including members of the C-suite, as previously reported by the Charlotte Business Journal.
The company is currently upfitting its permanent space at the building.
Last year Dole sold its 10-acre headquarters in California located in Westlake Village, Los Angeles County, to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation for US$50 million.
The move came a few weeks after Ireland-based produce multinational Total Produce acquired a 45% stake in Dole.
